Why Linen?

Linen is a natural conductor, meaning it’s cooler to the touch than heavier yarns like wool. Because linen is a strong, relatively thick fibre it can also be made in an open weave structure, making it remarkably breathable.

When to Wear it?

Linen’s relaxed and slightly wrinkled finish is best worn as a casual alternative to cotton or wool. Wear our refined Mayfair Linen suits to an overseas wedding or summer garden party, or opt for a soft linen blazer or button-down shirt as a casual weekend choice.

How to Care for it?

Linen is surprisingly easy to care for. It is machine washable and dries very quickly - just remove from the dryer while slightly damp to avoid the linen becoming stiff, and lie flat to dry. And the best news? Slight wrinkles are all part of the casual look of linen - so there’s no ironing necessary.
